Stand For Kashmiri Youth (SKY) Trust Kashmir is a non-governmental, non-political, voluntary, social impact organization established in 2017. We work in the areas of gender, health, and climate with a youth-centric approach. Our main focus areas include gender equality, gender rights, SRHR and menstrual justice, mental health, and climate justice. We build community youth leadership through various capacity-building programs designed and implemented by Sky Trust, considering the context of Jammu and Kashmir and the needs and interests of young people. We raise awareness in communities, build their capacities, and facilitate linkages with other non-governmental and governmental institutions. Sky Trust Kashmir creates safe spaces for youth where young people, especially women, can come together, discuss their issues, engage in conversations around stigmatized topics like menstruation, mental health, abortion, and gender, build relationships, participate in fun activities, support each other and take collective actions.

Mission: To engage with youth, especially women, and build their capacities, create safe spaces, raise their awareness, facilitate their linkages with relevant government and non-government institutions and advocate for youth friendly policies and programs.

Vision – A society where youth, especially women, are safe, educated, healthy, and continuously building skills; where they can access resources and opportunities to realize their full potential, and lead their lives with autonomy and dignity.
